The DC Harmony Coalition is a diverse community of District residents and businesses including medical facilities, hotels, restaurants, and nonprofit organizations from throughout the city that have organized together on the very limited and focused issue of excessive sound levels from some street performers.

The Coalition in no way intends to prevent or impede the ability of street performers to play what and where they want to or accept donations. Our goal is only to address the specific issue of excessive sound levels.

We seek to work together to find a reasonable, harmonious balance for the shared benefit of all community members so that we can protect the health and safety of all DC citizens.
